NVC Lighting Technology Corporation

NVC was founded at the end of 1998 with the ambition to become a world-class brand and an industry leader. We were the first company in the lighting sector to establish brand-specific specialist lighting outlets, supported by regional operating centres, and this strategy has been a revolutionary development for our industry and a key factor in our success. Since 2006 NVC has attracted investment from major institutions such as Softbank and Goldman Sachs, leading the way in the capitalization of China's lighting industry. In May 2010 NVC was floated on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

From the beginning, NVC has been an influential leader in China's lighting sector, having the greatest potential for achieving international status through the vision of its management and the teamwork of its employees. Now, within China, NVC has 5 main production centres, and 2 R&D centres in addition to its 3,000 dedicated distribution outlets and 36 regional operating centres. A third product development centre is based in the UK, supporting the UK and international markets in the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

NVC has won recognition for its achievements from its customers and from wider society. In particular, we have forged partnerships with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA),the Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, the Olympic Committee of Macao and with the Olympic Committee of Chinese Taipei. Our products have been used in all manner of projects, including stadiums, gymnasiums and velodromes, airports, street lighting, department stores and supermarkets, hotels, office blocks and domestic homes.

For sure, we want to build a successful global company with a respected brand, but our goals are for society too, not just for ourselves. The NVC family is dedicated to bringing light wherever there is darkness; to do so with the utmost concern for the environment and in an open, clear and transparent manner.
