The first two legs of FINA/NVC Diving World Series 2017 #1 Beijing (CHN) & #2 Guangzhou (CHN) have come to an end. Divers 

from all over the world brought an unforgettable visual feast on water, for sport fans all over the world. 


Team China achieved outstanding & dazzling results, in the first leg at Beijing (CHN)




From 3rd-5th March 2017, FINA/NVC Diving World Series took place in the National Aquatics Center - Water Cube at Beijing. 

Sixty eight divers from fifteen countries including China, Russia, America, UK, Ukraine, Mexico etc. 

participated in this world class sport event.


At the opening ceremony, Mr. Yu Xiao, the Executive Director of NVC, accepting the Certificate of Honor by FINA on behalf of 

Mr Donglei Wang (Tony), NVC's chairman, for NVC’s of support to FINA events in the four continuous years




The amazing competition moment of Team China


Many Chinese divers were from "Dream Team" of China who were champions in Rio Olympic Games: Aisen Chan, Yanfan Shi, 

Qian Ren, Yuan Cao etc. showed their diving talent and strong ability.In the first leg of the competition, China got 9 victories out 

of the 10 gold medals on offer with their consistent and excellent performance.


China had a clean swept for the hosts in the second leg of Guangzhou (CHN)


From 9th – 11th March, Team China earned an amazing outcome in the second leg of FINA/NVC Diving World Series at Olympic 

Sports Center in Guangzhou (CHN) by getting all 10 titles out of the 10 gold medals on offer.

Besides this event, Aisen Chan who was Olympic champion became the “most valuable” diver in Guangzhou with his gold 

medal in the men’s 10m platform in an impressive 601.15.  Tom Daley (GBR) got the silver in 531.45. The bronze went to 

China’s Hao Yang in 526.65.

“Dream Team” of China has maintained their leading position in medal rankings with a total of 19 gold-medals. From March 31st - 

April 2nd, FINA/NVC Diving World Series 2017 #3 Kazan (RUS) is in progress now, NVC hopes Team China can continue their 

success in Beijing & Guangzhou.

Then, they will move onto Windsor (CAN) to continue their journey.


The relationship between NVC and FINA    


The FINA Diving World Series is a diving competition series held annually since 2007, it is a high-profile competition for the 

world’s brightest diving stars to prepare for FINA Diving World Cup and the Olympic Games. FINA will invite internationally 

recognized divers to join the competition and most medalists are from previous Olympics, World Championships and 

World Cups. 





As a partnership and title sponsor with FINA, NVC has already supported FINA for four continuous years witnessing the 

achievements of Chinese divers every year.
